Dorothy Smith

Dorothy is the first person you talk to when you telephone James Norris Ltd. She is in charge of public relations, reception, and is our resident client database expert. She is also in charge of the headquarters office of James Norris Ltd. when Mr. Norris makes his overseas trips to meet clients.

Dorothy is a native of Victoria and has also lived in the Canadian cities of Edmonton and Halifax.

Mary Norris

Mary is the Manager of Special Projects for James Norris Ltd. and is also a Director of the company. She is involved in all management decisions as a member of the Board of Directors and has recently been the co-author of the company's new marketing policy for China.

It is Mary's interest in the equine Olympic sport of dressage that gives the company its distinctive blue horse logo.

James Norris

James Norris has an extensive background in Canadian immigration that dates back to 1975 when he joined the Canadian Diplomatic Service. He was trained by the Canadian government in all aspects of immigration processing, including the issuance of visas and the application of Canadian immigration rules and regulations. In 1982 Mr. Norris returned to Victoria to open his private practice of Immigration Advice and Services. In over twenty years of successful business, Mr. Norris has helped thousands of families achieve their goal of immigrating to Canada.

In his free time, you will find him out on the golf course or on the sidelines of a rugby game.
