
PERSONAL SERVICE CONTRACT AND
AGREEMENT FOR PAYMENT
1. This
contract and agreement is made in duplicate at , on , 2005. The
two parties to the contract and agreement are Mr. James Norris of James Norris
Ltd., Immigration Advice and Services, 500-645 Fort Street, Victoria, B.C. CANADA,
V8W 1G2, Tel.: 250-382-4234, Fax: 250-380-7299, Email: james@jamesnorris.com, hereinafter referred to as Mr.
Norris, and of
_____________________________________________________________________,
hereinafter referred to as the client.
2. The
purpose of this contract and agreement is to outline personal services to be
rendered by Mr. Norris to the client and to outline monetary payments to be
made by the client to Mr. Norris for services rendered.
3. Mr. Norris
agrees to advise the client about .
4. Together
with his Immigration Assistant, Immigration Processing Coordinator, and Manager
of Special Projects, Mr. Norris agrees to perform the following specific tasks
for the client:
a Prepare and edit Canadian government
application forms.
b. Prepare an introduction letter for the
application.
c. Advise about any interview the client may
have with a Canadian immigration officer.
d.
Advise about immigration medical exam
procedures.
e.

5. Mr.
Norris agrees to work as quickly as possible and to the best of his ability.
6. The
client agrees to pay the following fees:
a. A retaining fee of to Mr. Norris. This fee will
be paid in advance and is not refundable for any reason. The Personal Service
Contract and Agreement for Payment is not valid until Mr. Norris has received
the retaining fee from the Client.
b. A performance fee of to Mr.
Norris. This fee will be paid when the
client receives an immigrant visa from the Canadian immigration authorities
that allows the client to live and work in Canada. The client does not pay this performance fee if such a visa is
not issued.
c. A processing fee of . This fee is payable to the Receiver General
for Canada, NOT to Mr. Norris, and
must accompany each submission of an application for permanent residence in
Canada.
d. A Right-of-Permanent Residence fee of . This fee is payable to the Receiver General
for Canada, NOT to Mr. Norris, and
must be paid to the Canadian immigration authorities before an immigrant visa
is issued to the client.
7. The
client agrees to stay in close contact with Mr. Norris and to consult Mr.
Norris before the client contacts the Canadian immigration authorities or takes
any action that may affect the processing of the client's application for
permanent residence in Canada. Both parties have the right to withdraw for
cause.
8. The
client agrees to not hold Mr. Norris responsible for any delays made in the
processing of the application by the Canadian immigration authorities.
